**Position Summary:**
Calibration of electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to established standards. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Sets up calibration sequences, methods, and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Calibrate, adjust, maintain, repair, verify and certify a wide variety of electronic/mechanical instrumentation/equipment using known standards to assure performance and reliability to drawings/specifications. These include: Oscilloscopes, multimeters, VXI/PXI cards, current sources, power sup plies, waveform generators, solder pots, capacitance, LCR and meg-ohm meters, accelerometers, data loggers, oxygen analyzers, shakers, and chart recorders, soldering irons, conductive foot/wrist strap testers. **Basic Qualifications:**
