Job Summary

Performs detailed duties to maintain supply and inventory levels to support plant operations in a timely manner. Maintain spare part availability, repair turnarounds and inventory levels. May be assigned to provisioning, inventory management, spares, replenishments and/or return areas. Examines stock to verify conformance to the specifications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Takes information from sources to make recommendations regarding inventory control, purchasing or shipping.

  • Utilizes back order file to monitor stock as it becomes available.

  • Maintains information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage and current market conditions to make decisions regarding stock supply and replenishment.

  • Assures that proper requisitions, orders or other documents are issued.

  • Audits inventory to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders. Corrects inventory errors.

  • Responsible for deleting unused items and recommends to management disposal of excess stock.

Education and Experience

Generally requires HS & 4years or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Other Requirements

Ability to safely lift items in accordance with Site Policies.
