Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Daily responsibilities will require direct contact with space launch vehicle hardware and solid rocket motors. Perform a wide variety of non-standard tasks in the mechanical and electrical areas. Perform both mechanical and electrical structural analysis set-ups. Maintain proper documentation records for all flight hardware assembly, integration and test activities. Some business travel may be required. Perform related duties as assigned or required
High school diploma or equivalent (will be verified)
Four or more years progressive, related experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings and use basic hand tools
Good analytical ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice
Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications including MS Office
Ability to work extended hours or 2ndshift as required
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance

Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to work with all levels of personnel, including management and external customers, to accurately communicate, document and report.
Education and Experience
Generally requires HS & 2 years or equivalent combination of education & experience.
